With remakes of Dark Shadows, The Thing, Scream and so many other vintage horror films, it’s easy to forget that occasionally Hollywood will try something new, especially on the small screen. Case in point is Fox’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s IDW horror comic, Locke & Key. According to Deadline, actor/singer Jesse McCartney has landed the role of Ty, the oldest of the Locke children. His deal completes a cast that includes Miranda Otto as his mother Nina, and Sarah Bolger and Skylar Gaertner as his siblings Kinsey and Bode.
