Live-Action HACK/SLASH May Be Delayed, But An "Illustrated Film" Version On Its Way

While a live-action adaptation of the Hack/Slash comics has been buzzed about for quite some time, it's been about a year since Stephen Susco was hired to re-do the script. It's pretty safe to say we won't be seeing Cassie and Vlad take on the slashers on the big screen any time soon.

But worry not! There's an "illustrated film" version on the way based on the "My First Massacre" story arc which wind up being one of two things: (A.) an actual animated film with the potential to kick much @$$, or (B.) one of those gimmicky motion comics. Okay, maybe we should be worried.

Bonus points for the song "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits aka one of the greatest punk rocks songs of all time.

Produced by Halo-8 Entertainment, Hack/Slash will be released on DVD along with an illustrated film based on the Loaded Bible comic, also by Hack/Slash creator Tim Steely.
