John Romita Jr. drawing new 'Avengers' comic (image)

Marvel's heroic group the Avengers has been shaken up several times over the last few years, with its heroes disbanded, retooled, split into different comics (like "The Mighty Avengers" and "The Dark Avengers"). Most of it has been under writer Brian Michael Bendis and it's been an interesting ride.

Now it looks like all is being consolidated in a new "Avengers" comic that Marvel is launching this May (nicely timed with the release of "Iron Man 2"). Marvel revealed today that the comic will be drawn by John Romita Jr. (one of their top artists and co-creator of "Kick-Ass") and it also released this teaser image today.

Looks like Captain America will be in the Avengers lineup, but this is the gun-wielding Bucky Barnes version of the character.
