Check in and vote on foursquare

With election day day tomorrow, Foursquares is giving people yet another reason to go to their voting booth on Tuesday (in case choosing your government isn’t reason enough): a new ‘I Voted’ foursquare badge. On election day, simply head out to your local polling station and check in when you vote to unlock the badge. Or the second option for individuals that are mailing there votes in simply shout "‘I Voted"  at any  location you would normally check in.


This is Foursquares first ever attempt to encourage it's followers to check in for a civic cause. The most important thing to remember is not the cool badge you will receive but more importantly this is a chance for your voice to be heard..
